Mingjie Feng is currently a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona, with the group of Prof. Marwan Krunz. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Auburn University, Auburn, AL, USA, in 2018, where his advisor was Prof. Shiwen Mao. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from School of Electronic Information and Communications, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2010 and 2013, respectively, where his advisor was Prof. Tao Jiang. In 2013, he was a visiting student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, with the group of Prof. Qian Zhang. He is a recipient of Woltosz Fellowship at Auburn University.
Research interests: Mingjie Feng's research focuses on the design and optimization of 5G wireless systems. The major research areas include millimeter wave systems, massive MIMO, full-duplex communication, and small cell networks.
